Creative Kites

The Creative Arts Club met on a windy Monday (March 13) with the goal of making model kites with our residential colleagues.  The colors were lovely, the shapes very believable, and the decorations were sticker fun.  We even added tails – to keep those kites on track.  The results were spectacular.  We put the finished kites on the large window in the room – they looked ready for the big Arizona sky.  Here is Ellie’s observation about our Monday construction project: “Go Fly a Kite!  We didn’t quite accomplish that, but to celebrate the month of March, our Creative Arts Club did cut out paper kites to decorate and hang as window art.  What a beautiful collective display!”
