Kate Toussaint
artist statement:
“Painting with watercolors is my passion, my solace and my joy.”
Kate Toussaint is an internationally acclaimed watercolorist based in Arizona. She has won numerous awards, including 1st and 2nd place in juried shows in both the United States and China. She enjoys creating works of art celebrating the wonders and universality of nature. Her paintings range from the evocative (water buffalo) to the sublime (ethereal flowers) with the unique ability to bring the viewer both unbridled joy and serenity.
Kate received formal art training at Jamestown College in N. Dakota and at Western Arizona College. In addition, she has studied with acclaimed watercolorists in China.
