artist statement:

Making distinctly modern art for more than 3 decades, while maintaining a connection to tradition, each piece that I create is intended to bring fresh perspective to familiar themes. As much as I love making art in my studio, I equally love teaching people, of any age, in a classroom or workshop setting.
