Title of presentation: Landscape Painting Workshop
Description of presentation:
Join Edward Sprafkin for a one-day painting workshop using your favorite landscape references and painting mediums. This workshop is open to gouache/watercolor, acrylic, and oil painters. This immersive experience will guide you through the essential techniques of capturing nature’s beauty on canvas or paper, from sketching the initial composition to adding layers of color and texture.
You’ll learn to interpret light, shadow, and atmospheric perspective. Edward will demonstrate using acrylic paints. However, the principles covered can be applied to all mediums. Students should have several small format surfaces to paint on during the workshop.
