Summary
Residents made lovely holiday ornaments. The idea came from Sylvia Mousseux, who showed everyone how to make them.
Oh what fun it is to make our own holiday ornaments for the tree. This month’s activity was challenging — to design and “build” a holiday ornament with only the clear plastic shell as the starting point. But members of the Creative Arts Club were up to the task. In the words of Sylvia Mousseux, who led the project: “The memory care residents at Friendship Village very much enjoyed creating their holiday ornament, most likely as much as we did, TAG volunteers, who helped and guided their sense of creativity and wonder!” Sylvia brought all the materials and gave everyone a briefing on how to make your own beautiful holiday ornament. It’s a lucky tree that gets to “wear” these ornaments.
